Labyrinth & Medicine Wheel Fairy Garden

A colorful fairy garden scene representing a labyrinth or a medicine wheel. Colorful blue, yellow, orange, purple, pink & green stones create pathways. At the end of each path are fairy garden items such as a teeter totter, a fairy door, a mini dog, an owl, a tree swing, a pink bistro table and chairs with a desert tray on the table, a pinwheel and 3 crystals, rose quartz, clear quartz and citrine. A fairy garden for spiritual balance

All stress aside, can you FEEL it?  We are ALL in a state of transformation!  A labyrinth or Medicine Wheel are both excellent tools for stress, anxiety, for gaining clarity, connecting with our higher self and balance!

As I was creating my latest Fairy Garden, I was inspired to use various colored pebbles to create pathways for the fairies to enjoy! I wanted to create something fun and whimsical that the fairies would find playful and upbeat…but also to help ME raise my own vibration despite   the heaviness in the world right now!

So, I turned on the radio, grabbed myself one of my famous, warm, Hot Toddy cocktails (get the recipe here!) and began creating! As I was using my imagination and creating the different pathways & grouping areas, I realized that the reason this was so relaxing for me was because it was very much like the experience of using a Labyrinth or Medicine Wheel!

Are you familiar with a Labyrinth or a Medicine Wheel?  While the two are similar they are also a little different. I have used both & love both!  Here’s a short definition of each in case you are unfamiliar. Also, below you can check out my most recent Medicine Wheel photo of Jeff and our Shaman guide below!

Labyrinth

A labyrinth is a spiritual metaphor, prayer & meditation tool used to assist one in the journey of life.  It is a right brain exercise using one’s creativity, imagination, inspiration, sixth sense, gut instinct, innate knowing & so on. A labyrinth has a circular/spiral path that winds its way to the center as one would “go within”. There are no dead ends, or maze-like paths, it has one way in and one way out. When walking a labyrinth one typically “releases” on the walk in, “receives” in the center, and then returns via the same path back out taking the “gift” received back out to the world.

Medicine Wheel

A medicine wheel on the other hand, is a Native American tradition and circular, representing the continuous circle of life. However, it can also represent the directions (west, north, east, south) as well as the chakras, totem animals, colors, the Elements (water, air, earth, fire) numerology, ancestors, seasons, life stages and more. It too is believed to connect one with spirit, nature and earth. It is a metaphoric tool used for healing, balance, spiritual & ancestral communication, awakening, self-contemplation and knowledge. It can restore wholeness and bring about inner harmony. It is a sacred tool used to represent all knowledge of the universe. It is historically constructed with stones.

I had such a blast putting this kit together!

This is the most relaxing, meditative fairy garden kit you may ever purchase!

You will create your own pathways and groupings according to your own intuition & guidance. It comes with a Clear Quartz, Citrine & Rose Quartz crystal which you will intuitively place on the paths you create! You can also create a personal or family intention prior to beginning your creation! The colorful pebbles & crystals will help lift your Spirit and immediately change your vibration! You will also receive a ritual & tips for incorporating items from nature & your own backyard to make your garden totally personal. This is a great way to spend an afternoon with your kids as they gather items to incorporate that are meaningful to them. You can also break this up into several fairy garden creations if you wanted!
