My Law of Attraction Journey
I have practiced using the Law of Attraction for over 30 years; however, it was not necessarily called Law of Attraction then.
In my early 20’s, I became acquainted with LOA through a 3 day real estate seminar that I had attended. I was just beginning my career in real estate and scraped up $1200 to attend (which was a lot back then for this new, young Realtor!).
It was here that I was shocked to learn how my own thoughts and feelings, with focused intention, could actually create things! Real things!
Things like a new Jeep Cherokee to drive my buyers around in, or new sellers who wanted to work with me to sell their home, or commission checks!
I Learned That
I enjoyed a full time career in real estate for over 20 years. I was named Top Realtor for several of those years and sold everything from residential to new construction. I also was involved in the designing of custom homes, decorating/staging model homes and even purchased several of my own investment properties.
In 2007, I decided to explore new ventures and started two successful businesses and ran a profitable Airbnb. During this time, my love for real estate remained and I have continued to help friends and family sell their home “By Owner” or refer them to a great Realtor.
I also continued to dive deep into personal development & metaphysical topics such as Crystal Energy, Plant Medicine, Sound Healing, Chakras, Elementals, Planetary & Moon Work, Reiki, Yoga Nidra, Aura Seeing, LOA & more.
My LOA Home Selling Epiphany
In 2017, I decided to sell my own home that I had owned for 27+ years. I listed it with a trusted Realtor friend. To my surprise…
My home was on the market for several MONTHS! Sure, we had a few offers, but not anywhere close to what we were expecting!
I was so frustrated! We were both great Realtors, priced the house right, staged it beautifully, listed it in a strong market and had very positive feedback from potential buyers and other Realtors.
What Was Happening??
I took my home off the market and ended up keeping it for another year. However, I could still feel with certainty that selling my home was the correct next step in my life. I decided to re-evaluate WHY it hadn’t sold…
…then it came to me
I decided to focus less on the “actions” of home selling and more on my own thoughts and energy. I created a Home Selling Ritual to REALLY incorporate the Law of Attraction into the process.
I put my home back on the market “by owner,” I increased the list price by $15K, I did not put it in the MLS, nor did I even mention any of this to my realtor friend.
After I performed the Home Selling Ritual, my home sold in 7 days for list price to the perfect buyer!
There were so many coincidences and synchronicities (aka “winks from the universe”!) during the entire process that all I could do was smile! I talk about all of them here!
