I have loved so many of the Disney movies…who hasn’t?! I would become immersed and lost in these movies, maybe even more so than my kids! As you can imagine, having two kids 9 years apart, I enjoyed decades of them!
Many of the Disney movies take us on a journey of “make-believe” …but are they REALLY make- believe or did Walt Disney know a thing or two about the unseen energy that circulates throughout everything & everywhere?
When I went to Sedona, Arizona for my 50th Birthday, our Shaman guide took us on a private tour to one of the energy vortexes. As we climbed the trail of this vortex, there were cactus (Opuntia Microdasys) that resembled Mickey and Mini Mouse ears. Our Shaman guide mentioned that Walt Disney had once owned a home in Sedona and the story is… the shape of this cactus plant is what inspired Walt Disney into creating our beloved Mickey and Mini Mouse characters.
Now, please note that I have never verified the story of how these characters came to be, or if Walt Disney ever really lived in Sedona, but I would love to know! And I have no reason to believe that our guide would make up such a story. So, if you know these facts please be sure to leave a comment below! I just appreciated the mention of it & took it as a sign that since I am so connected to the magical world of Nature Spirits that maybe our Shaman guide was tapping into MY belief in the so called “make- believe world”! All I know is that at that moment I didn’t feel so weird believing in the unseen forces!
